As a 4th-generation roaster, coffee has been my life since Day 1, cupping my first roast with my father’s favorite brokeras at 7 years old. Since then, my love for coffee has deepened with each decade as I mastered my family’s best techniques. This blend is my tribute to the coffee bean. I call it MFB for Mike’s Favorite Blend—a precise combination of Brazil Bourbon, Guatemala Antigua, Mexican High Grown, New Guinea A Purposa, Colombia Popayan, and a rare Heirloom El Salvador varietal. In the Mountanos tradition, it’s a full medium-range roast that’s not too light and not that dark.As our 5th generation begins to take the reins, I’m looking at retirement to spend more time with my wife Erika and our 6th generation of Mountanos roasters. I hope that you enjoy MFB for generations to come!
